Robbie Bonn and Jeffrey Spalberg at Open Jewish Houses, Amsterdam

On May 5, 2025, Dienke Hondius interviewed Robbie Bonn (child survivor of hiding) and Jeffrey Spalberg (descendant of Hennie Spalberg, who hid Robbie Bonn) before an audience of over 80 participants at the IJsbreker in Amsterdam as part of the Open Jewish Houses program. Following the event, guests visited the hiding place on Ruyschstraat. Dr. Bert Jan Flim, an expert in helping Jewish children, and Paul Willemsen, a researcher on the Jewish hiding place in Brunssum, also contributed to this special meeting.
