Collaboration with the Jack Aldewereld Foundation in Brunssum

In 2022, Jan Erik Dubbelman established a relationship with the Jack Aldewereld Foundation in Brunssum. This initiative, started by Jack Aldewereld, who was a Jewish child in hiding, aims to study and commemorate the history of hundreds of Jewish children and adults in and around Brunssum during their time in hiding. On September 10, 2022, we hosted a delegation of stakeholders from Brunssum in Amsterdam, with whom we took on an extensive walk through Amsterdam’s city center and visited numerous hiding places.
